You guts hated you [and vice versa]? Your guts hid themselves when you need them most? Butterflies instead of audacity? I know, I know that’s the reason why you are here.
Top ten queries you often ask yourself:
- Why can’t my mouth just open? [locked-jaw]
- What the hell is wrong with my legs? [trembling/shivering legs]
- I am not hungry, am I? [churning stomach/gastric-like pain]
- Isn’t this place air-conditioned? [sweating profusely]
- What is that line again? [short term memory]
- Am I good enough? [self-doubting]
- Why can those guys talk like a bullet-train? [envying others]
- God, is my guardian angel here yet? [reassurance]
- Am I crazy to be up here? [drastic-last-minute pullback]
- IS THIS WEBSITE THE RIGHT SITE FOR ME? [come on... cheer up!]
And yes, this website is where you belong if you have those 10 questions in mind [or maybe others as well].
For a start, I have a friend who was one of the quietest guy in the whole universe. One thing for sure, I knew that he was really bad in the English language. The only language he was good at was Chinese Mandarin. Today, he leads a total of 60+ members of an organisation for weekly sessions mentoring them in pure English! That is a great change in less than a year’s time.
Another female friend of mine, who is another Chinese Mandarin speaker used to converse with me over the phone in pure English with me correcting her everytime she made a mistake. For that, she called me “Teacher” whenever she sees me now. Today, she has graduated and is working in a chemical factory which uses English as its primary language.
Oh well, I might as well share with you yet another inspiring truth about someone I know closely. He was one of the worst speaker when I knew him back in the early 90’s. Gradually he grew to learn how to love English but still he spoke with broken English most of the time. In the early 20’s he finally took the courage to stand on a stage to be the Master of Ceremony [MC] for his High School on his country’s National Day. He went on leading the High School choir team, 3 clubs and societies and stood up for so many events that he lost count of how many there is. He graduated from High School with distinctions for his English subject.
Entering the University saw him being the MC for Gala Dinners and Official/Opening Ceremonies and yes the crowd loves him as he could really turn the atmosphere on. And at the University, he scored distinctions as well for his English subjects. His professor for Creative Writing Lecture once shook his head in disbelief as he witnessed this guy composed a 12 stanza [paragraph for poetry] of 4 lines each in just a mere 30 minutes. I know it is not impossible to be like him. I know it is not impossible to do ALL THIS tasks simply because;
I AM HIM!
Don’t be afraid of speaking English. Instead, try to be more afraid of your inability to speak English. When you have set your directions right, then your directions will set you enlighted!

Did you ever had people telling you that your English sounded funny when you were having a conversation with them? YES?!? Let me tell you a secret; I have people telling me the same thing a long time back!! Now, that makes us equal – meaning there’s no superiority between you and me. We are facing just the same situation and having the same dilemma.
Practice makes perfect. And I am a good example of that particular idiom. Why should there be any question when it comes to practice? Have you been practicing your speaking skills lately? Have you been reading any form of narratives? Have you been writing a short paragraph in English? If you had done any of those, or all of those and your English doesn’t improve, then IT MUST HAVE MEANT that you haven’t been trying hard enough. Let me put it in simple words; YOU ARE NOT PUTTING YOUR HEART INTO ENGLISH!
Let me be frank with you. Your English is ONLY going to improve, IF AND ONLY IF you are practicing. If you don’t wish to pratice or you don’t think you are ever going to practice, then please don’t visit this site any longer. Don’t waste your time reading my postings and don’t bother worrying on your current English skills.
This is the second day of my site launching. Learning English is going to be fun for you. Trust me, you are going to love it!!

Newspapers, E-books, blogs, websites or even chatting in Instant Messengers are great ways to kickstart your English speaking and reading habits. The more constant you are [habitual consumer/user], then it’s definitely going to be even more rewarding for you.
Personally, I am going to start to write two E-books which are “The Basics of English.” and “I Hate Your Guts.”
“The Basics of English.” is going to cover a little grammar and writing skills you will need in your daily life may it be work, school or even self-learning. This E-book is going to cost a little of course but when I launch it, you can bet that your English command will start to grow within weeks into the E-book. [That's if you follow the instructions provided.] This E-book is going to be a little special because it is suitable for most ages, meaning you and your family can share the same E-book because it is going to be working for all.
“I Hate Your Guts.” is another E-book that I have in mind for the working class of people. 6 out of 10 people didn’t have the courage to speak up when they are facing a huge audience. Sweaty palms, heavy breathings, fast heartbeats or even occasional coughs are not what you need when you are facing your boss, clients, audience or even your drop-dead-gorgeous crush. If you are one of those who are affected by this problems, then this E-book is definitely what you need. Find no more, worry no more and you can proudly say goodbye to your sleepless nights with so much guts. Why pay so much for a book that will burn a hole in your pocket? With this E-book, you are going to be walking out of your home everyday, smiling with your GUTS plus your money!
The launching of these two E-books will be decided later on as we progress on this website and see the demand of them. In the meantime, I will still keep updating this site with relevant information, both on the E-books and also, how you can make your English work for you!
